Anetta L. (Snyder) Krieger, 90, was born on February 18, 1930 and passed away at Centerburg Pointe Nursing home in Centerburg, OH on February 11, 2021, where she has been a resident since 2016. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Philip Krieger. She is also predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Fairie (Telfer) Snyder; Son, Keith Krieger; Brother, Paul Snyder. Anetta was born in Summit Station, Licking County and graduated from Bexley High School in 1948 as a member of the National Honor Society with special recognition for maintaining high record in scholarship. Annetta graduated from the The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a 4.0 grade point. After graduation, Anetta worked at H. B. Davidson M.D. Laboratory, Columbus, OH for 6 years until the birth of their children. Anetta and Phil resided in Upper Arlington, Ohio for 54 years. Anetta was involved in Board V of Childhood League- Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Fund Raising Chairman; Twig 69- Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Project Chairman; Greater Columbus Tennis Association- Ladies Chairman, in charge of scheduling and arbitrating disputes for a 1500 member group; Investment Club- Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary; Women’s Board of Central Ohio Diabetes Association – Secretary; Franklin Park Conservatory- Docent, giving tours to school children; Riverside United Methodist Church-Board of Trustees Secretary, Pastor Parish Relations, Sunday School Teacher; Pleasure Guild of Children’s Hospital- Secretary; Upper Arlington Schools, Room Mother, Membership Chairman at High School Level, Organizer of Senior Party; Campfire Girls, Leader 11 yrs.; West Side & Ohio Ave. Daycare- Board of Trustees, Treasurer. She enjoyed tennis, reading and gardening. Anetta is survived by her children, Lynne Krieger; Missy (Louie) George; Brother, Dick Snyder; Grandchildren, Emily and Claire George; Many nieces and nephews and their families. The family wishes to thank Centerburg Pointe staff, with special recognition to Peg, Mallory, Nicole, Kandi and Angela. Also thank you to Capital City Hospice, Sharon, Missy, and Dale. Due to the current circumstances with Covid-19, the family is not having a service. Anetta, according to her wishes is being cremated at Ohio Cremation and Memorial Society, Columbus, Oh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, The Alzheimer’s Association, or a charity of your choice.
