Betty Berniece Morrow, age 93, of Upper Arlington, Ohio passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at First Community Village. She was born on December 24, 1926 in Springfield, Missouri to her parents, Russell Harper and Zelma Drain. Betty was raised in Springfield and later moved to Milan, Michigan. On January 25, 1943, she married her loving husband of 64 years, Bill Dalton Morrow in Lima, Ohio. She and Bill lived in Saline, Michigan and raised their family there. In her younger years, Betty was very involved at the Emmanuel Baptist and the Saline Baptist Churches. She and her family enjoyed spending time at their homes in Clearwater Beach, Florida, northern Michigan, and Walloon Lake. Betty was the happiest when she was wither her daughters, grandsons, and great grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was very quick-witted. Even until the very end. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sharron (Lawrence) Steiner, Teri Morrow, and Robin (Tim) Donahue; grandsons, Justin Bassett, Adam Donahue, and William Donahue; and great-grandchildren, Noah Bassett, Maxwell Bassett, and Elizabeth Bassett. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill D. Morrow, who passed on October 9, 2007 after a brief battle with cancer; and her sisters, Frances Rymanowicz, Helen Breight, and Dorothy Knox. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at First Community Village Healthcare and Pastor Murphy. Betty’s family will honor her wishes to be cremated and laid to rest with her husband, Bill Morrow at Walloon Lake, Michigan.
