Beverly Ann Stewart


Beverly Ann Stewart, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio died January 31, 2019 at the Select Hospital East following an extended illness.  She was born on July 26, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late William H. Tanner, Jr. and Retha Young.  Beverly is survived by her daughter, Sherl Tanner; son, Sir Charles Stewart; brothers, William H. Tanner III & Harold; grandchildren, Catrina Hines, Ciara Tanner and Travis McCoy; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; a special acknowledgement to close friends, Sandy Bridges & Kathryn Clayborn.  She is preceded in death by her father, William H. Tanner, Jr.; mother, Retha Young; husband, Charles “Junebug” Stewart; daughter, Felicia Tanner; brothers, Curtis & Ronald Tanner; sister, Joyce McBroom.  Beverly loved watching The Walking Dead & her soap operas.  She loved dancing & listening to her oldies but goodies.  Beverly’s proudest achievement was raising her children and grandchildren.  What made her unique was her strength and strong will.  The family would like to express a special thank you to Adrienne Pitts & Alfred King.  Please visit www.OhioCremation.org to leave the family an online condolence and view the full obituary.
