Carlton E. “Gene” McMann II


Carlton E. “Gene” McMann II, age 66, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital. He was born December 8, 1954 to the late Carlton E. and Millie F. (Miller) McMann. Gene is a 1973 graduate of Johnstown High School and retired as an Equipment Operator for the City of Columbus. He is preceded in death by a brother Steven Eugene McMann. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Bonna McMann, sister Brenda (Sam) Styer, brother Chris (Yvonne) McMann, nieces Melinda Johnson and Melissa Cremeans. Uncle Gene was cared for and loved by many great nieces and great nephews. Services will be private. “YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, YOU WILL REMAIN FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.”

    Gene was more like a dad to me so many things that he educated me he was my best friend and a big hole in my heart will be for a very long time fly high dad until we meet again watch over us all he had a heart of gold who would give to anyone he never meet a stranger love you big guy..

    Thoughts of sympathy to all of the family. I have so many wonderful memories of when we all got together in Johnstown for family get togethers.
