Debra S. Zdoniak


Debra S. Zdoniak, age 70, of Columbus, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at her residence.   She was born January 4, 1951 in Newark, Ohio to the late Claude Swartz and Clara (Althar) Swartz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Linda Johnston, Sally Schooler, and brother Joe Swartz.

“Debbie Bush” had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.  She was a gentle, strong, and free spirited woman.   Her favorite thing to do was camping with her Festival friends, where she has left a legacy of memories.

She is survived by her son Mike (Stacy Decker) Abel, daughter Lori (Bob) Jurden, and special daughter Beth (Nate) Norris; Grandchildren Stephanie Abel, Jerrod (Mackenzie) Abel, Brooke Jurden, Ryan Jurden and five great grandchildren.

    Prayers with all during this difficult time. Deb was a very wonderful person, always enjoyed time spent with her. She had away of making you belly laugh. What a truly unique character she was definitely one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

    I just want to say how heartbroken I was to hear this about Debbie. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! We have so many good memories visiting and hanging out with Debbie! The kids and I loved our camping trips! She always made it fun for everyone, including the kids! She was definitely one of a kind! She will be greatly missed by so many people! She would always put a smile on your face! RIP Debbie. Love you all! 🙏❤

She will be missed but I have no doubt there’s a party going on wherever she is and table with all of the food & drinks is perfect . Fly free Debbie… fair winds.
