Deja Bella Blackman-Little

Deja Bella Blackman-Little, age 4 months, of Cleveland, Ohio died May 12, 2020 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.  She was born on January 6, 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Shamieka Blackman and Randall Little.  Deja leaves behind her two brothers, Martinez Blackman-Little and Raymond Blackman-Little; her mother, Shamieka Blackman; her father, Randall Little; her grandparents, aunts and cousins.  It was amazing how strong she was through everything she has been through since her birth.  Deja was the most happiest baby girl ever and had the most beautiful smile that lit up any room.  She smiled every time she heard her mother and father’s voices.  When she heard her brothers’ voices she would close her eyes and smile.  The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for everything they did for Deja Bella Blackman-Little.  Shamieka would also like to thank her support system; her mother and sister.

Personal Reflections:

Dear Deja Bella Blackman-Little,

I love you so much that words can’t describe how much love I have for you.  The look you gave me when I see you how strong you held my finger I never wanted you to let go.  I wanted to do so much with you, we always talked about driving in the car going fast together it’s going to be hard without you.  I know where you are you are at peace I know you did your best your my fighter I knew the way you held my finger you was going to give your brothers a run for their money but God had other plans so I love you so much and see you soon I love you.  I really miss you my princess.

                                  Love Daddy

Dear Deja Bella Blackman-Little,

We are going to miss you so much we know that you are in a better place and we know that you are with your angels and they will take care of you.  We all knew that you we’re a fighter before you were born and now that you have your beautiful wings.  We know that you are in good hands and we love and miss you so rest up our beautiful baby girl.

                                Love Mommy, Marty and RJ

I just want to express my sympathy at the loss of your daughter, sister and grandaughter. I am a colleague of Carla and I got to know Bella through Carla over the past 4 months. I rooted for her and prayed for her every day. I am saddened by your loss. My heart goes out to all of you. I know nothing I can say will ease your pain. Just know that all of you and Bella are in Gods hands and sweet Bella will be watching and smiling with love over all of you. God bless.
