Dennis Clement Benjamin

Dennis Clement Benjamin, age 69, of Creola, Ohio died April 24, 2017 at the Ohio State University Medical Center.  He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on January 17, 1948 to the late Dean Wade Benjamin and Clarice (Parsons) Benjamin.  On May 12, 1977 he married Mary Josephine Hefner, together they shared 40 years of marriage.  Dennis is survived by his children, Dennis Wade (Heather) Benjamin, Timothy Benjamin, James (Melanie) Kesselring, Sharon (Charlie) Troyer and Rachel Groh; grandchildren, Corey, Maila, Trevor, Kaipo, Ariana, Devan, Seairra, Emma, Haley, Billy and Isabella; great-granddaughter, Kalyn; siblings, Ronald Benjamin, JoAnn Copperman, Sara Benjamin, Daniel Benjamin and Coral Allwein.  Dennis was a Veteran of the US Army.  He worked for Peabody Coal in Perry County.  Dennis loved baseball, especially watching his grandson, Billy, play ball and he was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Indians.  He enjoyed taking long drives with his friends and dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Dennis will be missed by all who knew him.
