Elizabeth Dawn LaDuew, age 80, of Delaware, Ohio died February 27th, 2019 following an extended illness. She was born in Elmira, New York on September 23, 1938 to the late Floyd and Vivian (Depew) LaDuew.
Preceded in death by her son, David Goodman; brother, Calvin LaDuew; step-daughter, Rachel Simons; step-son, Lawrence Ryder; and step-son-in-law, Ernest Simons.
She is survived by sons, Timothy Goodman and Jason (Felda) Ryder; daughters, Deborah (Eric) Schisow and Phyllis Schriefer; step-son, Joseph (Ruth) Ryder; step-daughter-in-law, Marian Ryder; brother, James (Jeanelle) LaDuew; sister, Vivian LaDuew; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed writing in her spare time. She was known for her religious newsletters that she sent to various prison ministries, as well as a children’s newsletter. She also enjoyed corresponding with the many pen pals she had made over the years. She lived in various states including New York, Iowa, Kentucky, Indiana, Vermont and Ohio.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time.
