Ernest D. Browning

Ernest D. Browning, age 57, of Buckeye Lake, Ohio died July 20, 2021 at Altercare in Thornville, Ohio following a long-term battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.  He was born in Niles, Ohio on October 23, 1963 to the late Kenneth Browning and Flossie (Lester) Browning.  Ernie is survived by his daughters, Stacey Browning (fiancé, Lewis Killeen), Ashley (Keith) Dean and Jessica (Zachary) Lucas; six grandchildren, Raina, Lilley, Zachariah, Zavian, Dakota & Eithen; sister, Denise Rhodes and brother, Roy Browning.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Flossie Browning; and brother, Darrell Willis Browning. 

Ernie worked over 10 years at the T.A. Truck Stop in Hebron, Ohio as a maintenance man.  One of his proudest achievements was obtaining his Certification in Auto Mechanics at Gordon D. James Career Center in 1992. Ernie loved fishing, hunting, motorcycles, working on cars, yard sales, and especially playing with all his grandkids.  One of his greatest passions was playing his guitar and singing. 

Ernie was a strong willed and loving friend, dad and grandfather.  He loved making people laugh.  He was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed making the best life he possibly could.  Ernie was loved and will be deeply missed.

    Was able to spend Saturday the 17th with him and took him a requested sandwich. He said you know I love you guys. We let him know that we loved him too. Was a wonderful man. Will be missed

    I worked with Eric at Flying J. And he was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Always enjoyed his videos on FB playing his guitar and singing.
