H. Bobbie Inmon, 84 of Shelby passed away January 11, 2021 at Crestwood Care Nursing Home where she had made her home for the last two years. She lost her battle with COVID-19.
Bobbie was born in Floyd County, KY on July 7, 1936 to Hazel (Reed) Patton and Harvey Patton.
She was a voracious reader and made many trips to Shelby, Plymouth and Ontario libraries. Bobbie was an animal lover and passed that love on to her daughter.
Bobbie’s past jobs were at Keith’s Market in Shiloh, Kosers Market in Plymouth and found her true calling as a nurse’s aid at Quality Care in Willard. She had a kind, compassionate heart and loved taking care of the residents.
Although she had moved to Ohio in 1954, she was always proud of her southern heritage.
She and her only child Belinda had a special bond and loved to be together whether it was going shopping or just watching TV.
Bobbie was a woman of great faith in the Lord and was a true prayer warrior.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Belinda (Gary) Runyon, her two grand dogs, Lilly and Toby, cousins, Robert (Sue) Parrigan, their daughter Jordyn (Clay) Paratore, Samuel Parrigan and Ellen (Rev. Richard) Lafferty. Special friends Kay King and Clara (Toogee) and Kathy Vanderpool.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Eliza and Wood Reed, her aunt Mint and Normal Hale with whom she had made her home as a small child and their daughter Patty whom she loved like a sister.
There will be no services at this time because of COVID-19.
