Harold E. “Red” Osborne

Harold E. Osborne, “Red,” age 84, of Circleville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Berger Hospital following an extended illness.  He was born on June 30, 1935 in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Donald Osborne and Donna (Brown) Jones.  Red and his wife, Crystal Hester were married on October 24, 1965 and shared 54 wonderful years together.  For 65 years, Red was a master barber in his community.  When he wasn’t working, he loved to fish.  He was even a member of the American Fishing Club.  He also would enjoy taking countryside road trips and harness racing.  However, Red’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family.  He was so proud of his family and his longtime marriage to his “sweetie.”  Red is survived by his wife, Crystal; daughters, Amy (Dean) Renner and Dawn Gabriel; son, Shane (Melanie Penn) Osborne; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pricilla (Preston) Lowe, Joyce Bush, Sandy Holdren, Jewel (Dean) Thurman; brother, Dick (Beverly) Osborne; beloved cat, Monkey; and his special friend, Phil.  He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Osborne; mother, Donna (Brown) Jones; step-father, Spike Jones; and son, Thomas Osborne.  Red’s family would like to extend a thank you to all of the family and friends who have supported them throughout the years.  Please visit www.OhioCremation.org to leave the family an online condolence.
