Jerry Steven “Steve” Albin, age 72, passed away on December 2, 2017 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on January 28, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert C. Albin and Dorothy (Brown) Albin. Steve is survived by his wife Marye A. Albin; mother, Dorothy Albin; sisters, Nancy Sue Lange and Bonnie (Dennis) Eckles; brother, Scott (Peggyann) Albin; sister-in-law, Julie (Jim) Wolpert; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Albin and brother, Mac Albin. Steve worked most of his career at Columbia Gas before becoming a business owner of his home improvement company. He was a member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church and served his country in the U.S. Army. Steve graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He was a huge sports fan and especially enjoyed watching OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians. Steve loved talking with people and made friends wherever he went. He was loved and will be deeply missed. The family would like to extend a special thank you to OhioHealth Home Hospice and Kobacker House for the wonderful care provided to Steve and his family during this difficult time.
