JoAnne Riddle


JoAnne Riddle, age 67, of Crestline, died Sunday, December 08, 2019 at her daughter’s home. She was born in Crestline on August 16, 1952 to Elvin (E. C.) and Golda (Renyolds) Lee. JoAnne was a graduate of Crestline High School and NCTC where she earned an associates degree in Human Resources. JoAnne worked many jobs throughout the years but enjoyed her work as a drug and alcohol counselor the most. In her free time, JoAnne loved to crochet, make jewelry and other beautiful crafts. An additional passion of JoAnne’s was to complete extensive genealogical research.

JoAnne was devoted to her family. She married Robert Riddle, July 27, 1987 and he proceeded her in death on May 9, 2018. Her family members that survive are Roberta (Sean) Vincent of Crestline and Brenda Carpenter of Mansfield, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and her dearest friend, Marie Howell. JoAnne was proceeded in death by a son, James”Harold” Carpenter.

JoAnne’s final wishes will be honored with no services. Memorial contributions can be made to OhioHealth Hospice, 50 Industrial Way, Lexington, Ohio 44904.

    I’m not sure what to say! Jo and I have been friends for many years ,sometimes it was years since we have talked but when we did we would catch up and laugh about the goofy things we did when we were young!
