My Christian prayers for my friend John will be observed at the Chapel of St. John Neumann in Sunbury in my absence as I am in Boston on the date of his memorial service here in Columbus.
My prayers to his Faithful Wife, Merry, and gratitude for the love and care that I witnessed in her dedication to his long illness. May the God of their understanding bless them.
