  • Kelly Fadrowski says:

Mr. Bosoty had a profound impact on my life as a student and now a teacher. He was a great man that had high expectations but also great patience. I will treasure the 8 years that I studied with him from Ridge Records to lessons in the basement studio. So many great memories with Mr and Mrs B! I send my deepest sympathy to his family. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Long Tones – Chromatic- Vibrato!

  • Robert Ferencz says:

Truly a life well-lived as a caring mentor to nearly countless music students. Great memories of seven years of regular lessons, plus Sunday evening rehearsals for Solo & Ensemble Contest with brother George on piano. Mr. B taught me how to listen to music and it has shaped a lifetime of musical appreciation. One of the most precious gifts I have received in life.

“Music takes us out of the actual and whispers to us dim secrets that startles out wonder as to who we are, and for what, whence, and whereto.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

  • Denise G Duale says:

I so remember Joe. I am the long time niece of Dixie Holden, deceased. She played piano and accompanied many of Joe’s saxophone and clarinet students in state music contests. I was also a music teacher and sent some of my students for Joe’s tutiledge once they needed the expertise of a private teacher beyond this band director’s ability. Many of these players went on to have rewarding careers in music. Joe sold me my first clarinet at his Parma shop when I was in the fourth grade. He and Dixie also performed in many ensembles around the area with Joe Lanese and Wisnewski. He was such a kind fellow who brought much happiness to the world Hail to the Old Guard!
