Kari Irene Hansley

Kari Irene Hansley, 52, of Lewis Center, OH passed away April 20, 2021.  She was born on August 15, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio.  She is the daughter of the late Gary J. Hansley and is survived by her mother Dennice D. Streets, sister Kyle Hansley-Potter (William), her nieces and nephews; Colleen, Emma, Reed, Zach, Abbie and Sara.  She is preceded in death by her beloved brother Christopher M. Hansley, and step-father John W. Streets.


Kari graduated from Thomas Worthington High School in 1986 and went on to own several successful businesses.  She will be remembered for her zest for life, great sense of humor and contagious laugh.  She is mourned by family and many close friends.  She will be celebrated in a private service at Central College Presbyterian Church.  Please visit to leave an online condolence.

    Losing Kari is like loosing my funny bone. She had a way to making me laugh in every situation. She understood people and what makes them tick and really missed her calling as a counselor. If you had a problem she could always relate and help you see it differently. Even though she will be missed I know I will see her again. She was developing a strong faith and just starting to learn what it meant to live that out. I am glad she is out of pain, physically, mentally and spiritually. Go rest Kari we will see you soon!!!
