Kelly K. Harris

Kelly Kathryn Harris, age 49, of Worthington, Ohio passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s following a two and a half year battle with cancer.  She was born on May 13, 1970 in Dallas, Texas to her parents, Anthony (Tony) Santamauro and Kay Lawrence.  Kelly was a Texas girl through and through.  She lived in multiple cities and states over the years but would always let people know that she was originally from Texas.  On May 14, 2012, she married her loving husband of seven years, Jeffery Harris in Allen, Texas.  Kelly was a very successful stock broker and even managed the law office of a criminal defense firm later on in her career.  She thrived at making other people happy through her kind words, actions, and sincerity.  While fighting cancer, Kelly would always deflect and ask others, “How are you?” when someone inquired on how she was feeling.  She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Harris; mother, Kay Lawrence of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Cindy (Chris) Rizzuto, Victoria (Frank) Simiola, Kerry (Robert) Law, and Wendy (Mark) Santamauro, all of New Haven, CT.  Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Tony Santamauro.  A memorial Service will be held in New Haven, CT on Monday, October 7, 2019.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.  Please visit to leave an online condolence for Kelly’s family.

Although we went years without talking, the friendship never changed. You were always available. I was so excited last week because after so many years we would finally be seeing each other. There was so much I had to tell you. I wanted to give you a huge hug. Unfortunately, time beat us. I’ll never forget all the good times we had, the laughter we shared at the law office.
