Kendall H. Murakami, age 61, of Powell, Ohio died on March 25, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on May 1, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Kenneth and Jane Murakami. Kendall is survived by his brother, Keane Murakami; sister, Jeri Fish; sister, Kathleen Madrid; brother, James Murakami, and 4 Nephews, 2 Nieces, 5 grand nieces and 4 grand nephews, all from Ventura County, California, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Hawaii. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Murakami and mother, Jane Murakami.
Kendall worked for Emmerson Electric/Liebert in southern California after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with an Electrical Engineering degree. He relocated to Powell, Ohio in 2005 to follow Liebert to Delaware, Ohio.
Kendall enjoyed building his own gaming computers. He liked simulation type games because he was so meticulous in the details of the games and looked at all options to optimize the results. This attention to details and ability to look for the best options helped him be successful in his job. He was known as Ken to his many co-workers and friends in Ohio.
Kendall will be brought back to California and will put to rest at Santa Clara Mortuary in Oxnard with his parents. His kindness and smile will be missed.
