Kenneth R. Ashworth, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio died October 21, 2019 at the Friendship Village Nursing Home following a very long illness. He was born on March 2, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas. On January 25, 1986, he married Peggy (Quinby) Ashworth at a church in Chelsie, Oklahoma. Together they shared 33 years. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army in Colorado Springs and in Germany. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Peggy Ashworth; mother, Mary Nell (Joe)Bunnell of Salina, Oklahoma and father, Kenenth R.(Corlene) Ashworth of Norton, Kansas; sisters, Kelly Hipp of Salina, Oklahoma and Robin Spoonemore of Salina, Oklahoma; son, Trey Ashworth; stepchildren, Bryan (Katy) Quinby of Grandview Heights, Ohio, Courtney Nielsen Quinby of Grandview Heights, Ohio and Craig (Jamie)Quinby of Grandview Heights, Ohio; four beautiful granddaughters; and many loving nieces & nephews. He recently worked at Giant Eagle for eight years and held his last position at Kohl’s. Kenneth spent many years working in Wichita, KS with Lear Jet as an aircraft inspector.
