Larry David Shriver, Sr.


 

 

Larry David Shriver, Sr. age 76 of Pataskala, died June 7, 2021 at his residence following a battle with cancer. He was born August 28, 1944 in Fairview, West Virginia, the son of the late Presley D and Coral Blanch (Broadwater) Shriver. On October 7, 1994 he married Linda (Spillman) Shriver in Clarksville, Tennessee and together they shared 27 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Ralph Bernard (Janice Moore) Shriver, sister Marygail (Alan) Tennant, brother in law Glen Evans and Ex-wife Evelyn Lorriane Durand. Dave is survived by his wife Linda, son “Cricket” Larry David (Janeen (Edgell) Shriver, Jr. granddaughters: Lindsey and Kiley Shriver, grandsons Preston and Brady Spillman, twin sister Wilma Jean Shriver Evans, brother Danie Vern (Sandra) Shriver, many nieces and nephews. He was a 1962 graduate of Clay Battelle High School, Veteran USMC, member of Grant Town American Legion and Pataskala American Legion. Dave and Linda worked all over the country. Dave for Linkbelt FMC in Fairmont WVA, Western Electric, Mack King and Don Elliott, Litton Industries Hebron, Ky; Western Atlas, Hebron Ky; HK Systems in Hebron and RBI Ky. He was most proud of his family and friends. Services will be private.
