Larry Owen Sapp Sr., 79, of Perrysville, Ohio, joined his wife in heaven on April 22, 2021 surrounded by his greatest achievements in life, his children. Born June 21, 1941 in Mansfield, Ohio, Larry was born wild and never changed. He loved his children most as he always stated they kept him young and going.
Larry loved nature. Any chance to get outdoors, he was taking it. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and he played them well. Playing in tournaments all around his surrounding hometown, he met many great friends.
His friends meant the world to him and they knew it. A few special friends he cherished were Doug Winters of Perrysville, Roger Porter of Lucas, the whole Fraley family of Perrysville, the Adkins family of Mansfield, the Seitz family of Mansfield, Steve Blanton, Sam Mehl, Lyndon Parish, and his friend Kandy Davis, of Mansfield, along with many, many more.
Larry enjoyed baking, sheep, bow fishing, camping, drinking beer, riding motorcycles, poker runs, checkers (beating many world champions) and spending time with family and friends. Full of stories most people wouldn’t believe, he lived a fun, accomplished, happy life. Larry would help anyone who needed it. He could fix anything and if he couldn’t he knew a good rig to make it work.
