Carol was all of those things and more. So special her death leaves a huge hole in our hearts. The memories I have of her will forever make me smile. Miss you Carol!

  • Marolyn Lewis says:

Mary and I were friends for decades. Although I don’t remember exactly how we met, when we did meet we were instant friends. We could not have been more different. I was quiet, reserved and shy. She was the total opposite-outgoing, a force of nature. She never met a stranger. I so admired her for that. We supported each other over the years through good times and bad. She never let me down and was always there when I needed her. I cannot imagine a life without her. It breaks my heart that she had to go through so much before she finally found the peace that was so important to her. I will miss her so. I was not ready to say goodbye.

  • Gerry Brown says:

I learned of your passing today. I am in shock as I always thought you indestructible, but of course none of us are. You will always remain in my head and my heart: your intelligence, kindness, humor, compassion, insight, and fullness of life. You made people better for knowing you. My sympathies to Kris and your children and all. All my love on the next phase of your journey. I hope to see you again at some point. Peace be with you. Gerry

  • Shawna Stockdale says:

I keep hoping that I will call and she will be working in her garden. The last time I spoke to her that is what she was doing. For someone so broken and in such pain for a year of her life I felt she was at peace that day. I remember her painting over 100 tulip’s and when I asked why her answer was because I can. We laughed so hard and that is how she life because she can. I am sure when my time she will be sitting on a rock saying it is abut time let me show you around So it is not goodbye just see you
