Patricia A. McElhaney

Patricia A. McElhaney, age 81, of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully Sunday August 25, 2019 with her family by her side.

Patricia was born July 1, 1938 in Meadville, PA to Charles and Margaret Hunter. She is survived by her high school sweetheart, longtime friend and love, Donald C. McElhaney, her husband of 61 years.

Pat was wonderfully devoted to her family and was beloved mother to Lyn Arnold (Terry), Don (Sherri), Beth, Laura McClelland (Craig) and Doug (Kim). She was the proud grandmother of Brad (Adina), Kyle (Amanda), Julian, Alex, Luke and Montana and great-grandmother to Cora, Alice, Jackson and Kennedy.

Her life was a living example of Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32~”And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Pat was an intelligent, strong and fiercely independent woman who believed that a family is “God’s Greatest Masterpiece”. She will be missed every day by all whose lives she touched.

Please join us in celebrating her life at services held on Saturday, September 21st at 10:30 am~ First Community Church-South Campus, 1320 Cambridge Blvd. Columbus, OH 43212.

Uncle Don and cousins; I am so sorry for your loss, for our loss. Indeed “kind” is what comes to mind when I think of Aunt Pat. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard, and I will continue to hold you there. Love, Lori
