Rick E. Davis, age 63, of Kingston, OH went to be with the lord peacefully at his home following a short illness with his wife, Beverly, by his side. Rick was an avid hunter, fisherman, had a passion for motorcycles, and a deep love for his beloved dogs. But above all, Rick loved his family and friends beyond words. He was born on November 16, 1955 in Circleville, OH to Daniel and Phyllis Davis. On September 27, 1992, he met Beverly Smith-Downs and had been together ever since. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel; brother, Kelly; and his nephew, Nick. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Phyllis and John Hollar; his wife, Beverly; sister, Anita (James) Davis; their children, Carissa (Mike) Rowe, Michele Smith, Heath (Arianne) Downs, and Jonathon McVey; grandchildren, Chris Smith, Robbie Smith, Jeffery (Jay) McVey, Jonathan Welch, Noah Keeton, Ryan Winans, Jailyn Keeton, Dylan Keeton, Layla McVey, and Alice McVey; five great grandchildren; two nephews; two nieces; and two very special friends, Marty and Sue Arms. At Rick’s request, he wanted to be cremated. A memorial for family and friends is being planned in the coming days and they will let everyone know a time, date, and location. There is also a benefit poker run in memory of Rick on September 21, 2019 starting at the Circleville, OH VFW. Kickstands up at 12:00pm.
