Robert Lewis Ball

Robert Lewis Ball went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2021.  He was born on May 20, 1944.  Robert is preceded in death by his father and mother, Roy Ball, Sr. and Sarah Ball; sisters, Alice Ferguson, Barbara Miller, Patricia Johnson; and brother, Roy Ball, Jr.  He is survived by sister, Deanna Nord of Adelphi, Ohio and brother and sister-in-law, William and Mary Ball of Delaware, Ohio; nieces, Amy and Melissa Ball; nephew, Austin Tolliver; and many more nieces, nephews and cousins totaling well over 100.  Robert was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and graduated from Parkersburg High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  Robert traveled around the country, lived for a time in Honolulu, Hawaii and also had several adventures in the Caribbean.  Robert passed from the church militant to the church triumphant.  Plant a tree.  Rest in peace Robert.  Please visit to leave an online condolence.

    We are very sorry for all the family’s loss.Robert was very sick andHe is in a better place. A few days ago he said something about putting on the full armor of God.Ephesians Ch.6V11-18. I ask him if he had made peace with God and he said Yes.He was a funny guy,all his hospice workers loved him,always joking and telling jokes.They said he made their days a little better.We will miss Robert like we miss all the others we have loss over the years.God bless the family.We Love You Robert

    We would also like to thank Amy and Kevin for helping to take care of Robert he lived with them about the last year and a half of his life. They were great care givers. We thank them,he also liked living with them and he loved them.
