Naomi always called her Gadge and I never why. I just called her that too. So sorry for your loss but guess he was ready for. She was a nice person and loved her family. May God bless y’all and help you through this.

  • Barry W Morris says:

Beautifully written, Amy. Aunt Ruth was a loving and kind woman. My dad loved his two sisters with all his heart, and felt especially responsible for “Gadge.”. She was always very sweet to me and I’ll never forget that. You and Joel are in my heart.

  • Sharon Harrell says:

    Dear Amy & Joel.
So sorry about the loss of your Mother and my dear friend. I loved Ruth and her zeal and love for Jehovah. I share with you our hope for the time when Jehovah will make all things new and Bible prophecy will be fulfilled when sickness and death will be no more. ( Revelation 21:3,4; Isaiah 25:8 and Isaiah 33:24)
I know your Dad is not well, we pray for him too. . John & I pray that Jehovah, the God of Peace and all comfort be with you all. 💕💕

  • Brenda Olson says:

I was so sorry to hear about Ruth. Y’all were in our congregation years ago in Florence, Al. But I remember her very well. She was such a sweet person and I know Jehovah misses her prayers too. I know you will miss her very much and I pray Jehovah will help you get through this terrible time. Soon we will see her again in that beautiful paradise earth just around The corner. Christian love
