Sharon Rae Brown, age 73, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 13, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 9, 1943 to the late Gerald and Thelma Brewer.  Sharon married Raymond Brown in Middletown, Ohio and together they shared 58 wonderful years.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Ryan; son-in-law, Rick Farley.  Sharon is survived by her husband, Raymond Brown;  three children, Jenny (Gary) Farley, Tammy Farley and Michelle (Alexander) Trujillo; eight grandchildren, Brandi, Nicole, Ricky, Anthony, Tanya, Joshua, Corey and Kaylie; twenty-two great grandchildren, Ciara, Chase, Gabbi, Nathaniel, Zachary, Liam, Ethan, Austin, Justina, Destiny, Autumn, Andre, Dominick, Mycha, Taylor, Joey, Kenzie, Eva, Elise, Edison, Ezekiel and Freddie; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She attended the Wagram Freewill Baptist Church in Etna, Ohio.  Sharon was a fun loving woman who was always smiling.  She constantly tried to make people laugh and feel good.  Even though she was extremely good natured, she had a stubborn streak a mile long.  Sharon loved to travel, sew when her health permitted and watch romantic movies, especially on the Hallmark channel.  What she truly was proud of and made time for was her family.  Sharon is deeply loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Winchester Place for the care they provided to Sharon and to family friend, April Smith – Stone for spending time with her and watching over her when needed.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Noon at Wagram Freewill Baptist Church, 272 Blueview Drive, Etna, Ohio 43068.  In lieu of flowers, please donate in Sharon’s memory to the American Liver Foundation at www.liverfoundation.org or the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.  Arrangements entrusted to Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society.  Please visit www.OhioCremation.org to leave the family an online condolence.

    As a child and up … I love the way she always made me feel like family . I was always welcome to be in her home. She took me everywhere she and her family went … church … family reunions … fed me … some people thought I was one of hers . From the time I was eleven years old until now I loved her and always will. Thanks for all the wonderful memories Sherry … I love you .

    Aunt Sherry was one of my favorite aunts. She and Uncle Raymond let me stay with them whenever I wanted as a child. I loved being with them. Aunt Sherry was warm and loving but also very fun to be with. Always a laugh and a smile to give to anyone in need of one. I’ve loved u all my life. I look forward to seeing u later in Heaven. Tell all our family there I love and miss them too.
