Shelia was a wonderful person. She loved her family more than life itself. I can say that as a fact because I was her home health aide for over a year and daily she would tell me stories of the kids and grandkids. She was very proud of all of them. She missed her daughter Elizabeth very much so now they are reunited in heaven and she is at peace. Shelia was like the big sister I never had and I will miss her terrible. Praying for the family.

  • Sherri Maynard says:

Sheila was in our lunch club. We shared laughter tears and heartfelt friendship. She was a special lady that I had the privilege of calling her my friend. May she rest in peace.

  • Diane Brooker says:

My heart goes out to all of you, she loved you so much. You were her everything. She had the kindest heart and was the sweetest lady. I do not believe she realized how much all of us at Discover thought about her. My hope she is resting in heaven with Elizabeth and looking upon her family with a big smile and protecting all of you. Her little body just could not go on, she gave it a great fight for so many years. God wanted her to come home. Bless all of you. Diane

My deepest sympathy to you all. Although I’ve only known Sheila for a short time, she was such a wonderful, loving, caring person. She loved her children & grandchildren with everything she had & was very proud of you all. Shelia was my mother’s roommate at Mount Vernon Health & Rehab. I talked with her almost everyday & we even texted each other. She was the sweetest women you just couldn’t help but love! I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing and am heartbroken for you all. Praying that Sheila is resting in peace and praying for strength for all of you.

  • Suzanna Spence says:

My family sends their condolences to Sheila’s family. My sister Becky and I played often with Sheila as we grew up on Brandon Road. Together we put on “shows” for our parents
“ delight”. I have very fond memories of her.

  • Bob and Charlotte says:

We spent many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and Grandchildren’s Birthdays with Sheila at Ryan and Allison’s house. They were fun times. Sheila really cared about her children and grandchildren and was a caring person. My heart goes out to Ryan and Melissa. It is so painful to lose a mother. Thinking of you with sympathy and wishing you strength and comfort during this sad time. God Bless you.
