  • Michael Wilson says:

Our parents were neighbors in West Jefferson. The Sweet family were great neighbors . Our family is sorry for your loss. Please accept our sympathy.

  • Ned Thomas says:

Dan had a brilliant mind and was tenacious when he locked onto a task. He was highly functional even when bogged down by his seemingly internal problems.
I always enjoyed being around Dan and was sorry when he felt he must withdraw. We had some very good times that will be remembered.
I salute the passing of my friend.

  • Gail Keller says:

Dan and I were high school sweethearts and our paths crossed again years later in the insurance business. I did not learn of his passing until today when I saw your Dad’s obituary. I remember your parents and Dan’s siblings with fondness. Dan told me of his wife and children in those later years. Like Ned, I remember Dan’s brilliant and creative mind and add that he was a dear young man. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of both your Dad and Dan.
