Wayne Parker, Jr.

Wayne Parker, Jr., age 33, of Pickerington, Ohio passed away on March 2, 2020.  He was born on May 7, 1986 in Cheverly, Maryland, the son of Pauline Mooney and Wayne Parker, Sr.  In July of 2004 he married Elizabeth A. Brown in Ohio.  Together they shared 15 years.  Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Pauline Mooney; father, Wayne Parker, Sr.; wife, Elizabeth Ann Brown; sons, Damari Gemayel Reed, Elijah Joshua Parker and Cayden Josiah Parker; brothers, Michael Parker and Caleb Greenleaf.  Wayne is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Sherry Lee Maxwell and Ida Mae Parker.  Wayne is a saved Child of God and a Christian.  He enjoyed playing basketball, playing video games and fishing with his son, Elijah.  Wayne loved spending countless hours playing with his toddler son, Cayden, and caring for him.  His greatest achievement was bringing three blessings into this world, which are his sons to carry on his legacy.  Wayne was so loving, caring and always joking & playing around.  He made sure to let his family and friends know how much they were loved.  Wayne was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.  The family would like to thank all the family and friends in Ohio and Maryland for their expressions of sympathy; Wayne’s stepfather, Todd Greenleaf for his love and support; and a special thank you to God for his love, mercy and grace.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Maryland.  Please visit to leave the family an online condolence.

I remembered the Parker Brothers when they were children. Their grandmother Sister Ida Mae Parker, made sure that they went to church and was at every children program. I am so sorry to hear about our young Brother. Earth’s lost is Heaven’s gain. I will keep each of you in my prayers. I know Wayne is smiling and laughing, if you could only see this place.
